Country Manager

Job description

As we get ready to launch our product in the market, we are looking for a leader for our India Country Operations based out of Mumbai, India. The Country Manager will be responsible for the overall management of country operations which will include

  • Working with the Board to define short term and medium-term goals and strategies to achieve those goals
  • Meeting aggressive transaction and revenue goals
  • Managing customer experience and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Contributing to the development of the platform based on market feedback.
  • Building an initial core team for running day to day operations


The candidate we are looking for would be in his or her late 30s with extensive experience in working with the IT channel eco-system in India. He/She should have strong relationships with key vendors and Channel partners such as Distributors, Sub-distributors, System Integrators and VARs. He/She should have a good understanding of current channel practices of key vendors, their strengths and short comings with the ability to position the Peer Connexions Solution as a benefit to all players in the channel. Ability to influence vendor and channel behavior and encourage them to try the PC portal would be a key strength. Exposure to commerce and digital platform will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate would have a strong entrepreneurial mindset with high energy, risk taking ability and desire to create and build a new business. The person should be willing to wait for exceptional financial rewards of success like any start up.
The compensation will be a combination of a reasonable salary and ESOPs.
